Our neighborhood pool officially opened on May 4 (Friday), so our family headed down on Saturday morning. Carly and her father headed down first, and David and I followed down after he finished his breakfast. When I arrived, Carly was splashing and really having a great time in the kid pool and was begging to enter the larger pool. Thankfully for her daddy, we were able to convince her to wait until the pool party later in the day (we were anticipating the water to be quite chilly). After just over an hour Carly's morning pool time ended.
Our family returned later in the evening for a neighborhood party. During this time, Carly did get to swim in the larger pool and our family enjoyed a yummy taco bar catered by a local Mexican restaurant. While David Jr and I were not able to participate in the pool actives, we did enjoy our time outside with Dave and Carly.
