Cornelius celebrated its first Snow Day of 2011. The snow began to fall sometime after midnight and by the time we woke up there was about 3.5 to 4 inches of snow on the ground.
We ventured out twice to play in the snow this morning. At first Carly wasn't sure what to think of the snow or how to walk in it exactly, but after a few awkward steps she got the hang of it.
As the day progressed we continued to get more snow, and unfortunately is now turning to ice. I guess tomorrow will be our "Ice Day."
