Carly did not nap during the day, so was very easy to put down at bedtime. However, around 12:30 this morning I woke up and found her sitting on top of my knees. When I asked what she was doing there was no response. I woke David up for assistance - I couldn't sit up or move Carly with how she was sitting on me. He scooped her up and took her back to her bedroom. They laid down together for a few moments, but he doesn't feel like she was even awake. I did not bother to ask her about it this morning because I did not want to give her the idea of coming into our room in the middle of the night, but I am very, very curious about what she remembers - if anything.
We are both slightly bothered by her middle of the night appearance in our room because the stairs are between our room and her room, so a gate will be up at the top in the very near future. Hopefully tonight won't be quite to interesting.
