Run Forest, Run...

David and I both ran in a 10K this morning. We both had the goals to finish, which we did! David beat his time from the Cooper Bridge Run, which made him VERY proud. I met the goal of running/jogging the entire race, but came just a few moments shy of meeting my goal of finishing the run in an hour. (My unofficial time was 1 hour and 2 minutes.) Either way, neither one of us every saw ourselves participating and completing in this type of "activity" and we have! David twice and me once now. We are actually signing up for another race. Four weeks from today I will be running a 15K and David will complete a 5K while pushing Carly.

I apparently was OVERLY excited and cheesing in the first photo.)

  1. I am very impressed with both of you. I do not envy Dave in the next race. Do you think Carly will be able to tell us her perspective of the upcoming race? Protect your feet!

  2. I am SO proud of you two!! I don't care what your time is, you finished! The neat thing about running is you just try to beat your old time. Good job David. What fun to run and push Carly next time! Keep it up. Love, Aunt Bubble

  3. Ok...so in the column on the right it has a pic of you and Dave @ the Grand Canyon. You look just the same...don't look like you've aged a day...or had a kid! You're doing great!!! Kudos on the run completion!
