And the trees are gone!

David and I got busy this weekend with removing some of the trees that lined one side of our front yard. I personally never liked these tress and our most recent snow storm took a toll on these trees... so down they came! After the excitement of Dave using a chainsaw and hours of cleaning up the debris he created, we have a beautiful place to plant a TON of azaleas this weekend! I guess the house work never ends.

An empty canvas now!!

Unfortunately all of this yard work helped a cold settle into my body and has left me home sick for two days. After sleeping through all of this morning I am finally starting to feel a little more like myself.

I'm blogging...

Here is to my first blog... I some how never thought I'd be one to do this, and I'm guessing David is wishing I wouldn't do this. However, it is what it is. Life is starting to get crazy with Dave working in Indiana most weeks and me trying to keep up with school work, house work, and baby growing. (That's right, for those of you who haven't heard... Dave and I are pregnant!) We are currently in our 8th week and keeping this secret currently between family and friends that have started speculating due to changes in my behavior. (Like lack of diet coke, exhaustion, change of diet, etc...)
